A Maryland-based nature photographer
drawn to the beauty of the natural world
and the quiet places where creativity lives.
As a child I spent most of my time exploring the outdoors -
climbing trees and building forts with my brother.
If kept indoors too long,
I would express my creative energy
by doodling on anything and everything within reach.
My creative outlets have changed over the years,
but my muse remains the same -
this beautiful wild world God created.
You can often find me
on a mountain,
in a forest,
sailing,
or exploring local and National Parks.
As a believer in Christ.
I am not only drawn to nature for what it is,
but for what it reflects -
the character of God within it.
The Hebrew word bara translates to “create,”
and in Genesis we are reminded
that everything God created was good.
It Was Good
is an invitation
to explore God’s creation,
to slow down,
and to simply be still.
Through this practice,
I’ve learned to truly observe the world around me
and feel more closely connected to our creator.
My hope is that these moments
captured through my lens
invite you to experience
all that is good.
